OVERVIEW
Important: The main reason why most fail or give up at network marketing is not because
they have unproffesional websites, havent submitted to enough FFA pages, wont mass
E-mail for fear of spamming, not enough banners, or to many, :
There is ONE SECRET that the successfull dont want you to find out. YOU HAVE TO
TARGET YOUR MARKET!!!
If you dont you are going to spend your time and money on submittion software and deleting
autoresponder messages. But maybe you like playing autoresponder tag. Dont get me
wrong autoresponders can be very helpfull, but they are just a peice of the big picture here.

In the following pages I am going to explain the ins and outs of search engines: What they
are looking for when you submit your URL's, Common myths, pretty much everything.
Listen, this is the most important thing you can do to get your target market. Let them come
to you. When you have set up your webpage right then when your target market searches
with an engine then your site will be one of the fist to display.

You have read about this Im sure. You may have even bought expensive submittion
software that say they will submit to 1000's of search engines. In reality there are only
a couple dozen REAL search engines. The rest are FFA pages, which are proven to be
pretty much worthless. OK OK, I admit it I, I still submit to some FFA pages, sometimes
you can have some good luck generating leads.
If you want to rely on luck, feel free to keep doing what you are doing... But if you
want to base your succes on the proven MAJOR METHOD of getting your site seen
THEN KEEP READING!!!!
I AM PROVIDING ALL OF THIS INFORMATION FOR FREE. YOU WILL NOT BE LED
THROUGH SOME VAUGE DIALOGE AND GET TO THE END OF THE PAGE WITH
EMPTY PROMISES OR A CREDIT CARD APPLICATION. SO READ ON.
META TAGS:

Chances are most of you have inserted meta tags into your website, but are you
utilizing them effectively? Chances are you are NOT!
Lets start with the Meta Keyword Tag.

Example of a Meta Keyword Tag:

Commas should separate each keywords or phrases. In general, list keywords in lower
case. Avoid repeating keywords more than 3 to 7 times, and never list the same
keyword twice in a row.
The purpose of this tag is to determine what keywords apply to your page. However,
only some search engines will read this tag, and those that do often do not place to
much importance on it as keywords found in other areas of the page. This considering
you should still insert a META keyword tag on your page within the area.
The area is between where your text on the page begins and ends. This
includes banners.

FREQUENCY:

Keep in mind that "keywords" are the description you placed in the META tag.
Frequency is how often a keyword appears on the page or in an area on the page.
In general, the more times a keyword appears on the page the more relevant it will
be to that search.

You dont want to go overboard with frequency since many engines will penalize you
for keyword "spamming" if they feel you were excessive. I can remember "back in the
early days" when people would duplicate these 3 or 4 keywords all over the bottom
of the page. Ever wonder why they did that? So the search engines would find them.
Ahh, but those days are over. No now they will simply reject your page and you
wont be listed at all!! But thats ok... It makes things fair... now you have to work for
it. This separates the boys(girls) from the men(women).

CHOOSING KEYWORDS:

Target the wrong keywords and all your efforts will be in vain. Choose the right
keywords, and you'll see your traffic skyrocket. Therefore think long and hard
on what keywords people are likely to use to find you. Make lists of keywords
and then combine them into two or three word phrases.

For example, you rarely want to target a single keyword seems how there are
billions of words indexed on the web today, generally one keyword just wont cut it.
People learn quickly that if they type in "real estate" or "properties" that they get
listings for real estate all across the world! Now it would be nice if you popped
up there on those extremely broad keywords, however, a better use of your time
is to PAIR the generic keyword with something more specific. You might get lucky
and rank well on just real estate since its in your page too, but if not, atleast you'll
rank well on "Boston real estate" which will be far less difficult to achieve a top 10
or top 20 listing for. These keywords will also bring you far more qualified prospects.

We are continually dismayed by people trying to monitor their positions on keywords
people are highly unlikely to use. For example , we had a well-meaning customer send a
list of his keywords for the "cheap airfairs" that his company sold. His list went something
like this:

cheap
flights
"cheap flights"
quote
discounted
airfaires

The word "cheap" alone does nothing to thier audience. It has to be paired with other
words like "flights" or "airline reservations" to have any meaning. Its the same with "quote"
and "discounted" -- to broad. Pair them with one or two other words. Statistically, most
people search for teo or three word phrases to avoid getting back too many unrelated
matches. Keep this in mind when you design your pages!
